I happen to think global warming is something which is occurring. However, I do not entertain the idea of reducing my commodities. I think that we should change over the use of fuel to something which is easier on the Earth (like Hydrogen fuel cells.) So thats my thought. Keep what we have just adapt it to be better for everybody. Maybe that is just me being naive though...

I think the detractors from the global warming movement feel that it will effect them so dramatically that they will all have to go live on a commune with a bunch of smelly hippies. In reality all it really means is that maybe you turn your light off when you leave a room, walk, bicycle, or take mass transit a few times during the week, and maybe think about someone other than yourself.

The problem with this is that Americans don't want to think of other people, future generations, or the end of the comforts that a seemingly infinite supply of oil has brought them. They instead want to think that that dead zombie they made telepathic promises to is coming to bail them out any day now. Loved that, so much, that I copied it down for future use of a made at home t-shirt!
