Your comments on bike helmets reminds me of that episode of Scrubs with the "hairmet."

My blog address is the new one, update your sidebar appropriately.

Really? I thought efficiency, not perfection, was the point of mechanical reproduction...among other things.

All I know about pencil skirts is that the women I've seen wearing them look far less perturbed than those that are wearing something far more heinous.

It is, admittedly, fairly unqualified.

Ditto on what Elaine said, you go girl. Go for something fitted on the top, floaty on the bottom. Or the ever popular A-line skirt. Oh, that's right, that goes under talking point, n. 7.

From your bike helmet-wearing friend.

But that's the whole point! There is a text and the spine only fits X times. And then it is cut off. Mechanical reproduction. Could a machine see that?! No! The answer is no.

The movie suggestion has been noted.

As for the philosophy of zombies, there's already a lot out there. The zombie is a pretty convenient tool in philosophy of mind. Wikipedia has a pretty good article on the philosophical zombie and I was surprised to see that the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy also has an entire page dedicated to the zombie.

Awesome.

Run, do not walk, to your computer and put Night of the Comet at the top of your Netflix queue. Not only are they zombies - they are 1980s zombies from southern California. It doesn't get any better than that - unless they were from NJ of course.

Is there a philosophy of the undead? Maybe you could start a trend.
